Have you ever created a vision board? I went a little overboard (get it?) this weekend and created 4 boards with 4 themes - home, family, travel, and career. ⁠

We'll see if any of these things come true ✨ If you've made on before - did you notice any of the supposed magical life changes as a result? ⁠
⁠
(...if so, I'm considering making a 5th board to hang over my husband's nightstand with images of honey-do projects I have been wanting him to help me finish 😉).⁠

Here's our progress on kid toy organization in our living room. I found this cubby coffee table on @facebookmarketplace for $30. For the past few months, I have been leaving out 9-12 toys at one time and when I notice my son is no longer playing with one, I switch it out for a different one the next day.⁠

Excess toys are stored inside our living room ottomans for now! This method has made cleaning up at the end of the night much easier. Plus, now that each toy has a designated "home" my son likes putting each one back where he found it!⁠

We recently installed these @ikeausa wooden spice shelves... gotta say, having our spices out and easily accessible has been so nice! No longer are we accidentally re-buying spices we already own. Plus, we are now using a wider variety of the spices in our cooking!
Speaking of cooking, my husband and I switch off grocery/cooking duties each week. On my weeks, I go through a pretty thorough planning process before grocery shopping to make sure we use up the food we already have before it goes bad (among other things). If you want me to share more about how I organize my meal plans let me know! 😊

Best way to hang a sweater? Drape the arm and the waist over the top of the hanger! This way you don't get those weird puckered shoulders that happen when you hang a sweater like you would a shirt or blouse.⁠

Few things bring me more joy than a nicely organized drawer. This is how I organize my son's clothes:⁠

- Top segment: Short sleeved onesies⁠
- Second segment: Short sleeved t-shirts⁠
- Third segment: Long sleeved onesies⁠
- Fourth segment: Long sleeved t-shirts⁠
⁠
His second drawer is all shorts, pants, and jammies!⁠

My husband is very diligent about removing his shoes indoors, but it used to drive me INSANE when he'd leave his shoes on the floor right next to a designated shoe closet/shoe shelf/shoe rack (I tried them all).⁠

The only way I have successfully been able to keep his shoes out of our direct entryway is this shoe basket. It's perfect for anyone moving too quickly to put their shoes away properly (kids, husbands, roommates).⁠

Hands down the best purchase we have made for Ford in 2019...⁠

This little set transforms into a table and chairs (two chair heights), a little desk, a bench, step stools, and more. Ford was not eating well in his high chair because he hated being trapped. Once we let him seat himself at his own table his eating habits completely changed!⁠
