Best Robot Vacuums Under $200

Robot vacuums are marketed with the promise that they will save you precious time otherwise spent on maintaining clean floors. This promise is exactly what led me to my first robot vacuum purchase.
As a person who spends 95% of her time at home completely barefoot, I am very particular about my floors! The possibility that a robot vacuum could minimize (dare I say, eliminate?) the time I was spending on floor upkeep felt too good to be true. And yet, after investing I can tell you first hand it was well worth it!
I go into much more detail about considerations to make prior to purchasing a robot vacuum in this Robot Vacuums 101 post. If you have already determined that a robot vacuum is right for you, but you’re on a tighter budget then you’re in the right place. Allow me to introduce the best robot vacuums under $200…

Best Robot Vacuums Under $200
Best Overall: iRobot Roomba 675
iRobot Roomba 675 – Amazon
Back in 2002, the folks at iRobot were the very first to market with a commercially successful in-home robot vacuum. Their robot vacuum models have gone through countless upgrades, iterations, and features since. When it comes to robot vacuums, iRobot is a highly trusted brand.
The iRobot Roomba 675 is a great, all around, basic robot vacuum for anyone who simply wants a machine to automatically vacuum their floors. This model offers some smart features like a customized cleaning schedule, compatibility with smart home devices like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
If you’re in the market for a simple, affordable robot vacuum for around $200 then this is a great option.
Best Low Profile: Eufy 11s

Eufy 11s Max – Amazon / Walmart
Is noise a big consideration for you? Say you plan on running your robot vacuum at the end of the day. The kids are in bed, the dishes have been washed, and you’re ready to kick up your feet to watch Netflix while your robot vacuum cleans your floors.
If that’s your situation, then a quiet robot vacuum might be a very important feature! The Eufy 11s (retails for less than $200) and the Eufy 11s Max (greater suction power and currently on sale for less than $200) are both fantastic options. Plus their noise levels measure in at around 55 dB – up to 10 dB less than competitors.
Plus, they are both low profile! Their slim designs put them at less than 3” high, making it easy for these machines to clean underneath sofas and other low furniture. That means you don’t have to routinely move your sofa to vacuum away dust! A huge benefit for anyone who might suffer from any physical limitations.
Best Budget Friendly: ILIFE V3s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner

ILIFE V3s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner – Amazon
If you’re on a tight budget and price is your biggest concern, then consider the ILIFE V3s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner. This highly rated robot vacuum retails for well under $200. With such a compelling price point, you will sacrifice a bit on suction power and dust collector capacity.
However, this is a low profile (less than 3” high), quiet machine so it can easily clean beneath your sofa while you enjoy your favorite TV show. A no-frills, budget-friendly robot vacuum that will surely get the job done in most households!
Best Digital Mapping: Wyze Robot Vacuum (Splurge $)

Wyze Robot Vacuum – Amazon
Ok, while this robot vacuum is not technically under $200, I am still including it here because it is simply the best, budget friendly robot vacuum with smart mapping technology.
That means the Wyze Robot Vacuum can create a digital map of your home’s floor plan. In the vacuum’s app, you are then able to set up “invisible barriers.” These are like digital walls to denote “no-go” zones.
This comes in handy when there is a particular room or area in your home that isn’t vacuum-ready but you still want the vacuum to clean the rest of your floors. Say your kids were playing legos in one area and you simply don’t have the energy to help tidy up today – no problem! Create digital walls around that area so your vacuum doesn’t get stuck or suck up a tiny toy by accident.
It retails for just over $300 but well worth it if the ability to quickly program digital walls means you’ll use it more consistently.
Best Mop: iRobot Braava Jet 240

iRobot Braava Jet 240 – Amazon / Walmart
Once you have a robot vacuum… you’re going to be tempted by the idea of a robot mop (trust me). Or maybe you’re committed to your regular vacuum (I still use my cordless stick vacuum multiple times throughout the day) and want to “outsource” daily mopping chores.
There are plenty of amazing robot vacuum / mop combination machines on the market but if you’re not ready to invest, try starting with the iRobot Braava Jet 240. It is a small robot mop under $200 with fantastic performance reviews.
Because it is so small, it can get into harder to reach places like around the base of your toilets, into corners, and below the base of your cabinets. It can be used to clean hardwood, tile, and stone. A fantastic little helper for anyone tired of their daily “Swiffering” chore.
How to Select the Best Robot Vacuum for You
